The Dan Manka Family will minister at Minot Baptist Church from Wednesday, July 10, through Monday, July 15. All services will be at 7 p.m. The Sunday evening service will still be at 6 p.m.

Minot Baptist Church is located at 500 46th Ave. NE, just north of Minot.

The Manka Family Ministries is a conservative, evangelistic ministry. The family had ministered in 42 states, Mexico, seven Native American reservations, on Pennsylvania Avenue in front of the White House, and in seven provinces of Canada. All five team members are currently, or have been, Christian school teachers with about 85 years of experience combined.

They offer preaching, puppetry, Christian drama, object lessons and both instrumental and vocal music. They use a wide variety of musical instruments, bringing 27 instruments with them.

The family sings many original songs, and Dan Manka has written many books, including poetry.

Dan Manka has about 30 puppets and has developed about 250 original puppet and drama stories, mostly from history books. Each story lasts about seven minutes and concludes with a spiritual lesson.
