The Dakota Nursing program with Dakota College at Bottineau pinned 17 Practical Nurse graduates in Minot last week.

Graduates were Bayley Harden, Velva; Amanda Skaar, Surrey; Liana Schweitzer, Berthold; Meridith Graham, Minot Air Force Base; Mackenzie Martinez, Jessica Jeanotte, Cassie Crow Flies High, Vanessa Tolentino, Cindy Deegan, Samantha Babcock, Megan Stockie, Carleigh Pedersen, Jessica Buss, Jesus Esquivel, Olivia Gage and Skye Witmer, all Minot.

Students will take their National Council Licensure Examination exam to become licensed to begin their careers as Licensed Practical Nurses.

The Dakota Nursing Program is a consortium of community college nursing departments that work together to offer a common curriculum for a Practical Nursing Certificate and an associate in applied science in nursing. DCB has programs in Bottineau, Valley City and Minot.
