Otto Bremer Trust announces grant recipients
The Otto Bremer Trust (OBT) has awarded $150,000 in grants to organizations in Minot and Devils Lake in April and May.
Local grant recipients include the Minot Area Homeless Coalition, Minot, $30,000; the Minot Area Men’s Winter Refuge, Minot, $60,000; and Safe Alternatives for Abused Families, Devils Lake, $60,000.
“These awards represent a diverse range of grants to organizations that help individuals, families and communities overcome challenges,” said co-CEO and trustee of OBT, Frank Miley. “The commitment of these grantees inspires us.”
The OBT is a St. Paul, Minnesota-based private, charitable trust that was created in 1944 by community and business leader, Otto Bremer. It was created to support organizations that are dedicated to creating a better quality of life for residents of Minnesota, Montana, North Dakota and Wisconsin.
