Jill Schramm/MDN Minot Area Chamber EDC presented a check for $31,255, representing the proceeds of its annual Prairie Warrior Auction, to representatives of the Prairie Warrior Association Wednesday. Lisa Toro, association president. MACEDC held its 35th annual auction event in April to benefit the wellbeing and enhance morale of those who protect the nation. This year’s proceeds were among the highest raised and bring the total to more than $668,000 since inception. The funds go to help underwrite the cost of picnics, competitions and other activities for Minot Air Force Base personnel.
