Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Chapter 4 of Minot was named Outstanding DAV Chapter of the Year at the DAV State Convention held in Fargo April 8-10.

Delegates were Chapter 4 Commander Doug Benjamin, Adjutant Skip Gjerde and Fundraising Chairman Paul Simonson.

Chapters were evaluated on their donations to organizations and groups supporting veterans causes, volunteer activity, fundraising, membership recruitment and educating the public concerning veterans’ issues.
