The Minot Area Chamber EDC is holding its annual Citywide Cleanup May 7 and 8.

The focus will be on cleaning up the city entrances. Businesses will be encouraged to pick up their buildings and neighborhoods. Volunteers are needed.

The cleanup will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 7 and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 8.

Trash bags will be available at the Chamber EDC office at 1020 20th Avenue SW until May 7.

The designated areas where garbage trucks will pick up the filled garbage bags are: North Broadway and Airport area, by the Grand Hotel; 16th Street SW and 16th Street NW, Highway 83 by Hardees and Slumberland, the east/west ditches; Highway 2 and 52 east end interchange; 27th Street SE and Valley Street; Amtrak Depot area; North Broadway to Delta Vacations; downtown Minot; 20th Avenue SW; 20th Avenue SE; Dakota Square Mall area; 31st Avenue SW; 37th Avenue SW; Burdick Expressway East starting from The Minot Daily News; 21st Avenue NW.
