Miss Minot Scholarship Pageant titleholders selected

Jane Peterson, a 19-year-old from Burlington, was chosen as the new Miss Minot during a pageant held in Minot this past weekend.

Additionally, Emily Prock, a 23-year-old from Minot was chosen as Miss North Dakota State Fair and Arnikka Thompson, a 17-year-old from Leeds, was chosen as Miss Norsk Hostfest.

The pageant was held at the North Dakota State Fair Center and featured five contestants from around North Dakota competing for the Miss titles.

Three North Dakota teens were also crowned. Ashley Beers from Minot Air Force Base was chosen as Miss Minot’s Outstanding Teen. Delaney Halverson from Max was chosen as Miss North Dakota State Fair’s Outstanding Teen. Abby Hickel from Ray was chosen as Miss Ward County’s Outstanding Teen.

They will now hold their titles and start to prepare for the Miss North Dakota Pageant held in Williston in June 2018.

The Miss Minot Scholarship Organization is a preliminary competition for the Miss North Dakota Organization, which is an affiliate of the Miss America Organization.
