Conrad Polkosnik

Conrad Polkosnik, 29, Dallas, Texas, is standing trial this week before a Ward County jury on charges from 2021 accusing him of physically assaulting and forcibly raping a woman at a northwest Minot residence.

Polkosnik was accused in the probable cause affidavit of physically preventing the victim from leaving the area after the sexual assault, resulting in a Class AA felony charge of gross sexual imposition, Class C felony aggravated assault and a charge of unlawful imprisonment, a Class A misdemeanor.

Polkosnik’s trial began with jury selection on Monday and is scheduled to conclude on Friday. Polkosnik is represented by Philip Becher and Elizabeth Hewitt.
