Audubon boat ramp restrictions
Boaters and recreationists using the primary boat ramp on Lake Audubon can expect some restrictions for the next several weeks. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is currently doing concrete repairs to the main boat ramp, known as the East Totten Trail ramp, and will be doing so until mid-October.
The repair work means there will be some lane restrictions on the ramp, limiting access at the double-wide ramp access to a single lane. The courtesy dock is expected to remain open while repair work is underway.
The Corps encourages boaters to be aware that increased congestion can be expected in the ramp area and reminds boaters to fully prepare their boats for launching prior to accessing the ramp. Also, while loading, no one should block the loading area and only back down the ramp when fully ready to do so. Boats should be loaded and secured to trailers as quickly as possible. Users are asked to clear their tow vehicle from the ramp area before finishing securing their boat to their trailer.
