First Western Bank spreading ‘100 Cheers’ this Christmas
First Western Bank & Trust is getting into the spirit of the season with the return of “100 Cheers,” a celebration of those who make the community special.
Beginning today, “100 Cheers” will begin in all seven regions FWBT serves. Each region is tasked with searching out selfless individuals and bringing them holiday cheer and goodwill. Through Dec. 10, more than 700 people will experience some Christmas joy and a heartfelt “thank you” for all that they do through this campaign.
FWBT began the “100 Cheers” tradition in 2014 as a 100 random-acts-of-kindness campaign during the holiday season to commemorate its 50th anniversary. Each year the goal is to spread cheer in unexpected ways. In previous years, FWBT has celebrated its customers, community members and small business owners.
This year, the “100 Cheers” campaign will focus on bringing blessings to nonprofit employees, educators and other essential workers. FWBT states the past two years have been difficult ones for everyone, and these individuals have been on the front lines. Because they are the foundation of what makes society great, FWBT will be dedicating “100 Cheers” to them.
“Each year our employees are excited to participate in the ‘100 Cheers’ campaign. It has been so heartwarming to see the smiles of those that receive the Cheers. We are proud to give back to the communities we serve, across every region. What a great way to start the Christmas Season,” said Brenda Foster, FWBT chairman, president and CEO.
