First Western Bank & Trust announces promotions

First Western Bank & Trust in Minot has announced several recent promotions of staff members.

Marla Gasmann has been promoted to Customer Relations Manager and BSA Officer. Gasmann who grew up in Minot, has been with First Western Bank & Trust since 1994.

Kelsey Aller has been promoted to Human Resource Officer. She is a Minot native, graduated from Minot High School and from Minot State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Marketing, and International Business & Spanish. She has been with First Western Bank & Trust since November 2013.

Ilene Baker has been promoted to VP Human Resource Manager. Baker is a North Dakota native and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy from the University of North Dakota. Baker is a trustee of ND Banks Benefit Trust and has been with First Western Bank & Trust since October of 2013

Shelly Peterson has been promoted to Loan Administration Manager. Peterson is a Minot native and has 14 years of banking & financial experience.

Lisa Hiatt has been promoted to Bank Operations Manager. Hiatt is a Bottineau native, who earned a Bachelors’ degree in Business Administration with a minor in Management Information Systems from University of Mary in 2007. She has been with First Western Bank & Trust since September 2019

Angie Hansen has been promoted to VP Loan Operations Manager. Hansen is a Minot native who graduated from Surrey High School and Minot State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and a Finance minor. She has been with First Western Bank & Trust since September 1997.
