Two new providers join Trinity Health in Minot
Kevin Moore, DO, is an outpatient psychiatrist at Health Center – Riverside. A Long Island, NY, native, he earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Des Moines University and completed his psychiatry residency at Garnet Health Medical Center in New York. He has a background as a professional musician, initially as a member of a successful rock band and later as a solo recording artist and soundtrack composer. Moore provides comprehensive psychiatric care for adults dealing with a wide range of mental health issues, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and psychotic disorders.
A member of the inpatient Behavioral Health team at Trinity Hospital – St. Joseph’s, Michael Rayel, MD, is a psychiatrist board certified in general, geriatric, forensic, and consultation/liaison psychiatry. He earned his medical degree from De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute and completed his general psychiatry residency at New York Medical College. He did a clinical fellowship in geriatric psychiatry and an additional fellowship in forensic and correctional psychiatry at New York University Medical Center and Harvard Medical School respectively. His postgraduate training also included two years of psychodynamic psychotherapy study. Prior to joining Trinity Health, Rayel practiced and taught nearly two decades in hospital and clinic settings in Clarenville, Newfoundland, and most recently was associated with the University of Connecticut’s UConn Health.
