Watne celebrates 65 years of serving customers in the Minot area

This month, Watne Realtors is celebrating 65 years of serving customers in the Minot area.

Watne Realtors was founded by Clair Watne in April 1951 and has been serving the residential and commercial real estate needs of northwestern North Dakota ever since. The owners are proud to have the number 4 on their company license issued by the North Dakota Real Estate Commission.

In July 2012, Watne turned over the ownership to Blake Krabseth, president/broker, Carrie Montoya, and Matt Watne, Clair’s son. They continue to run the company with the same dedication and ethical standards that Clair Watne brought to the real estate industry.

MinotHomes.com is the Watne Realtors website that brings customers all the listings (residential, commercial, land, multi-family, mobile homes and investment opportunities) in the Minot Multiple Listing Service. People can search for properties at home from their computer or on the go with a tablet or smartphone with the MinotHomes.com app on Google play and Apple’s App Store.

Krabseth has held his real estate license since 2004. He became the sales manager at Watne Realtors in June 2009 and served in that role until becoming a co-owner, president, managing broker in July 2012. Krabseth also performs as a comedian/magician and serves Trinity Lutheran Church in Drake as their lay pastor. His wife, Brenda, is a loan processor at Farm Credit Services.

Carrie Montoya has held her real estate license since 2002 and has been Watne Realtors’ top producer for the past few years. Her husband, Ric, got his license in 2011. They are both retired Air Force. They are just two examples of Watne Realtors’ strong ties to the Minot Air Force Base.

Matt Watne has held his real estate license since 1994 and has his associate broker’s license. Matt owns and operates IPM Property Management, which is housed in the Watne Real Estate office. His wife, Susan Ness, is the district manager for Blue Cross Blue Shield in Minot.
