Christmas at the Zoo will be held Saturday from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at Roosevelt Park Zoo in Minot.

A Greater Minot Zoological Society event, there will be crafts, treats, Santa and zoo animals to see.

Admission is $3 for nonmembers and free for members.

If someone brings a nonperishable food item or a new/gently used toy, that person will get into the event free,” said Dr. Logan Wood, zoo director.

He said new this year is guests can also get in for free if they bring new or gently used kids’ winter clothing.

“This way we can also help those kids that may not have adequate winter clothing keep warm this winter,” he said.

One item admits one person.

GMZA memberships also will be available.

Anything donated and not kept at the zoo for its animals will be contributed to the Matthew 25 Project.
