Bentonite spill reported in McKenzie County
WASHBURN – Registration is open for a snowshoe lacing workshop Saturday, Jan. 18, from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. at the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center in Washburn.
Master the knot and lacing pattern as you complete your own pair of snowshoes in this hands-on workshop led by seasoned instructors. Work at your own pace to finish at least one snowshoe in class and be confident enough with the lacing pattern to continue at home if necessary.
The workshop is geared for those 16 and older. The cost is $175 plus taxes and fees and covers the snowshoe kit and instruction. Water and coffee will be available. Lunch will not be provided, and participants should bring a sack lunch or order from a nearby restaurant.
