Jersey Johnson of Minot has been crowned Miss Norsk Hostfest 2024 and will represent the Norsk Hostfest Sept. 25-28 at the annual festival in Minot.

Norsk Hostfest held its competition for the title on Saturday.

Johnson will receive a $1,000 scholarship provided by Farmers Insurance, Miranda Schuler Agency, as well as numerous other prizes provided by sponsors. Miss Norsk Hostfest also has the opportunity to compete for the title of Miss North Dakota 2025 in competition to be held in Williston in June of 2025.

“I am beyond honored to have received the title of Miss Norsk Hostfest 2024. I cannot wait to meet everyone at the festival. Thank you for letting me represent my heritage on a larger scale. And a huge thank you to all the sponsors, board members, and volunteers who make this possible,” Johnson said.
