Voices of Note holds annual fall concert
Voices of Note women’s chorus will be performing a fall concert on Sunday at 3 p.m. at Christ Lutheran Church, 502 17 St. NW in Minot.
A free-will offering will be accepted, and the event is open to the public.
The group will have a variety of secular and sacred selections, said Nadine Holmly, one of the directors. Some of the selections include “America” from “West Side Story,” written by Leonard Bernstein and Stephen Sondheim, and “Will the Circle Be Unbroken,” written by A.P. Carter and arranged by J. David.
Voices of Note is a choral group of women from the Minot and surrounding areas who love to sing. The group originated in 1989. Voices of Note presents annually during the fall, at Christmas and each spring. The chorus also performs at assisted living centers, church services and banquets.
