It's really time for the states to build their own, they seem to be the ones impacted and whining. Each state should build their own, the we will pay to connect the final foot between each seam.

We need to have someone pay the taxes the Repubs are evading both here and abroad in their shelters.

I really believe the Dems should go along with the Repubs to pass the reversal of Obama's immigration executive action and repeal ACA. I would then buy banners that Boehner and McConnel told us to. The mess this would create would make Repubs extinct.

Too many businesses using these immigrants is a big part of why they are here. If there was no opportunity for them they would have no reason to come. Agriculture, motels, building, and other labor are driving them to come and work hard like some us will not. These businesses are using an economic advantage their competitors not using them don't have. Businesses need to do their part to slow and stop the demand.

I agree with the Repubs that we need to secure the border first. This should be an easy sell, but vs. getting this done they want to deport, escort, and extort the aliens. Get the guts done then work on the finishing touches. If they really want to do something on immigration do it a step at a time.

Repubs have control so let's watch them put together a reasonable plan. Of course their mouths are always whining not completing anything. Look at the abortion bill they spent their sleepover last weekend planning, then pulled it after listening to some ladies. These cats couldn't put a roll of TP on the holder.

The kxL would stop more hunting than the dems have EVER. The kxl does not go thru ND but our righties in Bis. r all 4 it. It appears they r sold out to oil. I am so proud of our Pres. 4 asking the questions about the pipe that the righties have either failed to answer or lied in response. He is not ready to step on states in line 4 the kxl, but the right sure is. Think about it. Have u heard one objection 2 the kxl from the right?

The problems we face today exist because the people who work for a living are outnumbered by those who vote for a living.

Sure would be nice to have a comments section for the measure 1 debate. The editorial says it is "highly unlikely" this measure would impact anything but abortion. I say THEN WORD IT THAT WAY dum kopf.

Community Communist is more like it when referring to James Lien and if he really nailed it, Obama should have received the message 2 years bf now.

Is it time for the Minot Daily News to update the Opinion Section to display the latest poll question?

Yes, long overdue.

sort of what I say about ND these days... More people came here looking for money than came looking for work. (describes politicians too)

faux-center....I feel there musta be an exodus of unaccompanied minors leaving Detroit and New Orleans as I would feel their murder rates are staggering...
