The only honest and truthful information i have received on our flood potential in total, came from 1 person, that is Kim Fundingsland. He did better on 2010 and 2011 than our "civic leaders. We have less protection now than we did in 2011. Canada should give our $42 million back with interest and it should be spent on flood control. 40 years of lies were told about the safety of our valley.

We r in the 6th year of a 10 year wet cycle. We have been somewhat dry this winter and are overdue for precip. Add that the canadian dams are plump with water, the ground has moisture from last fall, and u have a flood recipe. Could canada hold back 26,000cfs like they sent us in 2011? Nope. I dread the thought of it--but u asked the question. Our only hope of handling 26,000cfs is if the canadian dams were near dry. Remember our civic leaders didn't see it coming in 2011--then they talked to canada--and we no nothing from those meetings. Isn't that comforting.
