"Work on getting free pizza and I stop in."
Looks like a new mantra...

"Justice - You actually took the time to point out a non-cap "I"? A little OCD there?"
Bob, to those who suffer from the "obsessive-compulsive disorder" affliction, the correct arrangement of those letters is "CDO."
We have to keep reminding everyone...
Justice - You actually took the time to point out a non-cap "I"? A little OCD there?

"Sad state of affair, but what do you exspect, there are no moral values anymore! Crooks, thieves, and perverts everywhere even in the white house!! Kids today have no respect for anything or anyone!"
Gee, I wonder where they learned that from . . .

Yeah, right. Nothing in North Dakota is "relatively close" to where you live.

"Having a number of incidents relatively close to where I live, I am taking more time to analize my surroundings out of respect for the security of my spouse, friends & neighbors"
Situational awareness is your friend, but you probably already know that.

You can buy 45 acres of good real estate in California, along the California coastline, for approximately 1.8 million dollars or about 40,000 dollars per acre.
In Minot, 308 acres of land now sells for 74 million dollars and is at a price of 240,000 dollars per acre.
You can sell land here and buy in California and bank some cash.

North Dakota's Village Idiot invites the Village Idiot from Chicago to North Dakota.
"Now Federal agencies have been asked to help tired, overstrapped police depts."
"Overstrapped"? In the context I'm thinking, such a word suggests that the local police are armed to the teeth more than is necessary.

Wow. Surprised by the results. My memories of ND were ones of people almost never locking their doors. I've slept in several churches during long trips from the Twin Cities back to Minot because of this phenomenon.
muleskinner you hit the nail right on the head with that one!! I was going to say when Obama is asked to visit your state you need to take all extra precautions ......he loves other peoples money!!

Poorly worded poll. "only at night" or "only when I leave"? so if I only do at night AND when I leave I can't answer correctly.

Locked doors and cameras, and no I'm not paranoid I have a wacko for one of the adjoining landowners. Our SA told me to keep my doors locked while we are waiting for the wacko to have his breakdown. It's always scary when the wackos are focused on you.
Kevin Cramer invited President Obama to ND, and, luckily, President Obama declined.
Not only would have I locked my doors, I would have asked my bank to close while President Obama was anywhere near within 500 miles.
Just can't trust somebody who is willing to take as much as they possibly can, by any means possible.
President Obama does just that.

What a stupid question for a poll. Is the paper trying to recruit thiefs to move to Minot?

Still don't. Have yet to be murdered, robbed, and/or have the basement converted into a meth lab by squatters.

I wager way more do, starting about 2 years ago. Seeing way more alarm systems put in houses now.
