I believe they would be advocating another revolution... all the government interference in their lives they fought, died and lost fortunes over all all back and worse. NSA, IRS, phone scandals are just the tip of the iceberg.. and it is a REPUBLIC not a democracy... read the founders they hated democracies.

If the founding fathers saw the USA today, first they would be amazed at the change. Politically, they would be happily surprised at the strength and tenacity of the US Constitution, i.e., the democracy they designed held up despite everything that's happered over the last 226 years.

Would they be disappointed in the division between the parties, yes. Would they be disappointed in how the government they set up is working, no. It is working exactly as they wished.
