WA, sounds like you are straying a little from your Democrat ways? Figured you would be the first to help "those in need" out. But that would be your own personal money and not tax dollars, so I guess that makes sense, right?

Like Bugs Bunny used to say, "It's a livin'..."

keyzgirl62 you are correct do not give these panhandlers any money. The real homeless do not panhandle. To test this, offer the panhandler a food coupon and see what the person says! I saw one of these "so called panhandlers" eating at McDonalds and paid for his meal with a big roll of money!

we have "homeless" people that panhandle at the corners of Walmart that are just paying for their hotel rooms. They make more tax free money doing that than they do working a legitimate job. And they cover their faces so you can't recognize them off the corners.

Remember when the Y.M.C.A., oops, the "Y" used to help a guy that was down and out? But now it is just another fitness center and has strayed from it's roots due to the almighty dollar.

animal we have working homeless people due to the oil boom! Because of the housing shortage or the cost of housing many are living in their trucks or they come here searching for that big oil job and bring their families and are finding that their are no affordable places to live. By the time we catch up with adequate housing for all of the people the big oil boom will be over and we will be stuck with a glut of empty houses and even higher taxes!

there is no reason for anyone to be homeless in Minot, there are jobs everywhere, landlords need to get over their greed! Homeless shelter is added tax burden to the working people and will only attract people who simply live off of the system that our emperor is promoting!

I think you better worry about the people still displaced from the flood first. St. Vincent is still a Saint.

Would I financially give support? I doubt it. Would I say that one it needed? I do believe so.
