You can't give them an 'F', they take up time and space while they are there, so they qualify for at least a 'D'.
You have to give them an 'A' for frivolous legislation.
A 'C' average is being generous.
Contact Hamid Shirvani and ask him what grade he would give the deadbeats in the state legislature.

true, they do take up time and space so they should get at least a D. We also get to pay them for it, so they get an F. Has there ever been a more ridiculous legislature? Not in my memory and I have a good memory.

I'm very hopeful they let some of our money out of their sticky fingers in regards to property taxes. I don't like the Governors idea of giving property tax relief money directly to the schools. They are talking about a 35% reduction in property taxes, that would knock it down to what it was about three years ago.

And another, The Game and Fish wants to raise the price of hunting licenses. This does not surprise me after several years of selling over 100,000 deer licenses to try to help reduce the over abundant deer herds. We had a couple hard winters that took a heavy toll on the deer so G&F had to reduce the amount of tags available to around 60,000, that is $800,000.00 less than we paid them for a couple years. They must have thought that money was always going to be there because now they need to raise stuff to make up for that loss of income. It's about budgets people, if they don't spend all the money in their budgets they get less the next year.

I can,t believe we can,t get good people with common sense to work in our Gov. OH there it is, the problem is right in front of us! COMMON SENSE and WORK the two things that are lacking in our GOV. Good hard working people don't have the time or money to run for office and they don't want to put up with the B.S. involved! These idiots think just because they were elected it means they have to pass new laws with their name on them to prove they are somebody! We don't need more laws, we have too many already! All we need is people to properly inforce the ones we already have and to eliminate the burdensome overdone crap that is already there!

Earlybird, You are missing other history on the issue of GF license prices. They haven't had a license increase since about 1987. Let see you try to run a business and charge 1987 prices for your goods! Sooner or later they have to get prices in line with reality. Those new prices will still be cheaper then most every state around us. I was vacationing in Idaho a couple years ago and a Non resident fishing license was over $90. Most all they have there are trout. Currently we are under $40. A resident fishing is only $10! That's less than a dollar a month to catch fish that sell for $5 a pound in the grocery store.

Detectorguy, they do not realize how many people will just quit hunting. The price of gas is a big factor in hunting and when you factor that cost and increased licenses I don't think they are going to have the outcome they are hoping for, to replace lost bonus money. To me hunting and the outdoor heritage are worth more than money and should not bargained for with money. If we loose one hunter and his family that is a loss we as gun owners do not need.

Walleye is a premium game fish that sells for more than $5 a lb. in a grocery, and well over that price when prepared in an upscale restaurant.
EarlyBird, here is your compromise: raise the fees on non-residents at first, then on residents if they have to.
Just because there are some people getting rich off FEMA and the oilfield doesn't mean everybody is. This has went to far. There are a heck of allot more people going backwards then forwards yet if you haven't noticed, all the charities and free government programs are here for less fortunate I do believe. If somebody wants to pay more please feel free to do so.

I wouldn't be saying a word if we wouldn't have all predicted this outcome. We knew when Mother Nature put things back in order the G&F would raise rates to try to keep the extra money that became a staple in their budget. Greed is so predictable.
