Should illegal immigrants have a path to eventually become legal residents of the U.S.?

  1. Yes
  2. Yes, but it should be long
  3. Never

I don't understand the part where you illegally claimed, annexed, lied and fought a vicious war to steal land that belonged to Mexicans in the first place.

It's the lies, thievery and murder I don't understand.

We can probably thank the unions for raising their wages so high the big companies have brought workers in from other places. Sure most are here to work legally but it does open the avenues for illegals. In many ways the illegal workers are like the slaves of the past, they work for much less then the citizens of this country will accept and live anywhere they can find shelter.

Lies? Steal? Illegal?

Stop with the revisionist histrionics and outright misrepresentation of facts.

When the Pilgrims landed at Plymouth Rock what did the natives do?

Anyone? Bueller? Offer a peace pipe?

"During the spring, the Pilgrims met Squanto, known in his tribe as Tisquantum, a Wampanoag who spoke both English and Spanish. With Squanto's help, and the assistance of other friendly Wampanoags, the Pilgrims had a bumper crop of corn by autumn and were well on their way to self-sufficiency."

I forgot to add our elected officials in Washington DC seem to always have a few illegals house mousing and providing other services under the table.

If an illegal has been in this country for MANY MANY years with children who are already U.S. citizens, then I think the parents should have a chance to become a citizen "legally", but only after an extended period of time to prove their dedication to the U.S. None of this back and forth between countries like so many do. If they want to live in the U.S. and be citizens, let them "legally" become a citizen the way other immigrants have become citizens IF they have already been here for a long period of with them on getting them that citizenzhip. As far as NEW illegal's? No, send them back and make them apply like everyone else.

Yes -- evil lies, thuggery, thievery and murder. That is your history and that is your legacy.

As your leader Mitt Romney pointed out, a large portion of you people -- "47 percent" by his estimation -- mistakenly believe that YOU are victims!

It's truly psychotic.

You takers have the nerve to skulk around as if someone has taken something from YOU -- as if the YOU were forced down the Trail of Tears . . . as if YOU were held in human bondage for hundreds of years . . . as if YOU were the victims of genocide.

The latest report stated that 67% of the Mexicans who could legally become citizens of the United STates have failed to take the first step to do so. We could discuss the fact that the standard of living in Mexico would be much higher if the evil white men would have stolen all the land from the Mexicans back in the day. So, either way it is the evil white man who is to blame for illegal immigrants. Besides, the southern border of Mexico would have been much easier to patrol.

I forgot to mention the high standard of living taken away from the Native American by the evil white man. Sorry.

Maybe they have become more like the American already and sit around all day pretending to be 5 different people.
