Minot Air Force Base leaders met with North Dakota's congressional members this past week.
Sen. John Hoeven, R-N.D., met with Col. Jason Armagost, commander of the 5th Bomb Wing; Col. Michael Lutton, commander of the 91st Missile Wing; Chief Master Sgt. Thomas Stiles, command chief of the bomb wing; and Chief Master Sgt. Felicia Noil, command chief of the missile wing.
Sen. Heidi Heitkamp, D-N.D., also met with the base leadership.
The senators addressed ongoing priorities for base missions, including modernization programs that will affect Minot B-52 and intercontinental ballistic missile missions. They also highlighted the importance of addressing challenges facing the base and its servicemembers, including the impact of energy development on national security sites.
