ANOTHER CONTRIBUTION The impact of Arlene Saugstad will continue on the Minot area arts scene, despite Saugstad's passing in March, two months shy of her 102nd birthday. This week, more than 200 pieces of art from?Saugstad's personal collection will be sold at a two-day event at the Taube Museum. The public can bid on pieces during a silent auction, and the Taube will recieve a commission on sales. It's a fitting tribute to Saugstad, who spent her life as an ardent supporter of the arts scene, whether it be a musical event, an art show or a play, and everything in between. She no doubt put together an impressive personal collection over the past decades, and art enthusiasts should be excited to have the chance to partake in the sale. It's just another way that Saugstad is still making an impact on the Minot arts community with yet another contribution.
