Miranda Rae (Routledge) Patten, 26, of Lakeville, Minn., passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, June 18, 2014.
Miranda was born Jan. 24, 1988, in Minot, to Steven and Jayne (Christianson) Routledge. She graduated from Montana Wilderness School of the Bible at Augusta, Mont., in 2008. Miranda married Michael Patten on Feb. 20, 2011. She had been currently working at Rudy's Red Eye Grill in Lakeville.
Miranda was active in a German Shorthaired Pointer group.
Miranda was a passionate young woman whose beautiful smile, fun laugh and vivacious personality were contagious to those around her. She encouraged others with handwritten letters embellished with stickers and love. She loved animals, especially her German Shorthaired Pointer, Heidi, who was her pride and joy. Over the years they enjoyed dog shows, agility training and going to dog parks together.
Miranda will be missed by: her husband, Michael Patten, of Lakeville; parents, Steven and Jayne (Christianson) Routledge, of Crosslake, Minn.; brother, Landon Routledge, of Crosslake; her dog and best friend, Heidi; grandfather, Charles Routledge, of Minot; grandmother, Virginia Christianson, of New Rockford.
She was preceded in death by: her grandparents, Ralph Christianson and Betty Routledge.
Funeral Services for Miranda will be held: Thursday, June 26, 11 a.m., in Crosslake Evangelical Free Church, Crosslake.
Interment will be: at Pelican Woods Cemetery in Breezy Point, Minn.
Visitation will be held: Today, Wednesday, June 25, from 5 to 7 p.m., at Brenny Funeral Chapel, in Crosslake, and Thursday, from 9:30 a.m. to service time, in the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
