Election day

June 11, 2014
Minot Daily News

North Minot voters present their identification cards to get their ballots Tuesday afternoon at Lewis and Clark Elementary. Minutes earlier a woman described the polling place as a “jip” and a “waste of time” because her address didn’t match the polling precinct. From near to far, the poll workers are Nancy Bergstrazer, Sharon Dokken and Vicky Davis with polling inspector Joylea Knutson standing behind them. Knutson said that voting that day was “very quiet” compared to her 20 years of polling experience. She attributes the slower turnout to the majority of candidates this year running unopposed.
