Jeffrey Wescott, 58, Bismarck, died Saturday, June 7, 2014, at St. Alexius Medical Center, Bismarck. A private memorial service will take place at a later date. Cremation has taken place.
Jeffrey David was born Jan. 10, 1956, in Bismarck, the son of David and Beverly (Brown) Wescott. He grew up in Bismarck until his freshman year of high school when the family moved to the Apple Valley development east of Bismarck. Jeffrey worked as a carpenter for various contractors and on his own in the Bismarck and Minot areas. He was a member of the Local #1091 carpentry union.
He married Terry Williams in 1983 in Minot and together they had Clinton and Amy. He enjoyed fishing and was a gifted athlete, who especially enjoyed playing softball.
Jeffrey is survived by: three children, Chris (Steve) Bartels, Bismarck, Amy (Brandi Mostad) Williams, Minot, and Clinton Wescott, Sioux Falls, S.D.; his granddaughter, Kiera Bartels; four siblings, Cheryl (Bob Wetsch) Wescott Wetsch, Mandan, Dean Wescott, St. Paul, Minn., Lisa (Jamie) Page, Plymouth, Minn., and Russ Wescott, Chicago; his nephew, Jon Page; and his niece, Kristin Page.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
