The story is told of a boy named Philip who was in Mrs. Brown's second grade Sunday school class. On Easter Sunday she gave each child an empty plastic egg, and told them to go outside and find things that symbolized new life, put it into the egg, and come back to share what they found with the other kids in the class. After returning to the class the kids took turns sharing what they had found. Philip was the last one to share. When he opened his egg, it was empty. The other kids laughed, until the teacher asked him why he hadn't put anything in his egg. Philip then said, "The empty egg represents the empty tomb!" Philip had it right. Jesus Christ is no longer dead in the tomb.
