The pickup driver Michael Rameden, of Ray, and passenger Kyle Keller, of Bismarck, died at the scene. Blaze Unruh, another passenger, was flown to a hospital.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol has said the pickup truck ran a stop sign and collided with the driver's side of the dump truck at the intersection of U.S. Highway 2 and a county road, about 13 miles west of Williston.
The dump truck driver wasn't hurt.
