MINOT AIR FORCE BASE The 49th annual Team Minot Sportsmen's Feed is set for Sunday, Jan. 19, at Minot Air Force Base's Jimmy Doolittle Center.
The event provides Air Force personnel and community supporters with a place to watch the NFC/AFC football playoffs, win prizes, and eat food including walleye, venison, pheasant, duck and turkey, along with all the trimmings.
The day starts at noon with appetizers, games throughout the day and the main meal served around 6 p.m.
Gary Brevig, left, and Joe Quaglia, both of Minot, and others spent numerous hours cooking a variety of dishes as part of last year’s annual Team Minot Sportsmen Feed held Jan. 20, 2013, shown in this photo by Senior Airman Jose L. Hernandez-Domitilo. This year’s event will be held Jan. 19. The annual event brings together families and guests from the Minot and base community to sample wild game dishes and participate in family activities.
Tickets are $30 each. Every ticket sold entitles a selected Minot AFB airman to free admission to the event. Tickets are available at the Minot Area Chamber of Commerce.
The event is sponsored by the Chamber's Military Affairs Committee.
Those who would like to donate door prizes, order tickets or for more information can call the Chamber at 852-6000, send a fax to 838-2488 or send an email to email@example.com.
