Enbridge makes donations to United Way chapters
Enbridge Pipelines' North Dakota region employees raised nearly $45,000 for United Way chapters in the state, including Souris Valley United Way and Williston Basin United Way.
"We really tried to be creative with fundraising this year but also did a great job promoting existing fundraising activities," said Terri Vigstol, the 2013 United Way committee chair.
Since 2010 the company has contributed about $160,000 to these regional United Way chapters.
"Employee contributions account for well over half of the fundraising totals and without the support of employees and great community partners, we couldn't be as successful as we are," Vigstol said.
