DATES, TIMES SET FOR SINGING CHRISTMAS TREE The First Assembly of God, of Minot, will present the 33rd Annual Singing Christmas Tree at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 6, 7, 11, 13 and 14 and at 4:30 p.m. on Dec. 8 and 15.
This year's theme is "Christmas Together" which will tell the real story of Christmas the story of the birth of Jesus Christ through music, drama, humor and lights. The musical features a story from the oilfields of North Dakota, along with traditional carols and favorite Christmas songs from Gaither Homecoming videos.
Free tickets will be available starting Nov. 25 by calling 838-1111 or at the church office, 1805-2nd St. SE. Interpretation for the deaf will be Dec. 6 and Dec. 7. Childcare is available for children up to age 3.
A freewill offering will be taken. People are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items for the local food pantries.
CAMP METIGOSHE GARNERS ACA ACCREDITATION ?The American Camp Association has announced that Camp Metigoshe, at Pelican Lake north of Bottineau, has received ACA-Accredited Camp status for 2014.
The accreditation means that Camp Metigoshe, which was founded in 1961, has complied with the highest standards in the industry from staff qualifications and training to emergency management.

BREAKFAST TO BE SERVED IN MINOT CHURCH ON DEC. 1 ?Our Lady of Grace Knights of Columbus, assisted by parish youth, will serve a breakfast of sausage, eggs, French toast, pancakes and fruit on Dec. 1 from 8:30 a.m. to noon in the lower level of the church at 707-16th Ave. SW, Minot.
A freewill offering will be received. Beneficiary of the breakfast, which is being held to welcome new parishioners, will be Our Lady of Grace Food Pantry.
