NEW TOWN A public input meeting to discuss proposed improvements to N.D. Highway 1804 and N.D. Highway 23 will be held Nov. 7 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the New Town Civic Center.
There will be an open house with a formal presentation at 6 p.m.
The proposed improvements are from the junction of Highway 1804 and Highway 23 north about one mile. Proposed improvements include intersection work at the junction of Highways 1804 and 23.
The project will consist of reconstruction with concrete, widening Highway 1804 to a three-lane section, installation of sidewalks, driveway improvements, storm drain, possible street lighting along Highway 1804, traffic signal at Highways 23 and 1804 intersection, pedestrian crosswalks, flashing beacon at Dakota Drive, and incidentals.
Representatives from the North Dakota Department of Transportation will be available to answer questions and discuss concerns.
