William Yarham

William T. Yarham, 56, Longmont, Colo., died Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2013, in a Longmont hospital.

William "Bill" Thomas Yarham was born on Oct. 21, 1956, a son of Francis and Vivian (Nolan) Yarham in Davenport, Iowa. He was raised and educated in Davenport, graduating from Century High School in 1975.

Bill enlisted into the United States Air Force in 1975. He proudly served his country until his honorable discharge in 1994. Following his retirement, Bill started a small computer service company in North Dakota.

Bill was united in marriage to Sheila Hendrickson on May 20, 1999. In 2000, he decided to return to college and during his work to receive his master of science in Management Information Systems, he received the chance to work as an adjunct instructor for Minot State University, teaching Microsoft Excel applications. He found this experience very rewarding and decided to pursue a teaching career. After earning his masters, he started teaching Project Management, Business Info Systems, Advanced Computer-Based Systems, and Intro to Computers undergraduate course for Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Bill loved teaching online and was someone the university could always count on and was very dedicated to his students. Bill was a member of various educational clubs. He and Sheila loved riding their motorcycles and touring national parks together. He was a wonderful, kind, loving husband, father and grandfather and will be deeply missed by all.

He was once married to Bonita Nikkila; to this union three children were born.

Bill is survived by: wife Sheila, Longmont; children, Athena Yarham, Barbara (Michael) Carmack, Burnsville, Minn., Caroline (Daniel) Lemere, Minot, Shannon Molzahn, Fort Collins, Colo., Lynn Molzahn, Bismarck; 17 grandchildren: two brothers, Sam (Mary) Yarham, Elkridge, Iowa, David Yarham, Mount Pleasant, Iowa; sister, Barbara (Gerry) Guy, Broken Arrow, Okla.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Bill was preceded in death by: his parents; grandson, Dante; and a granddaughter, Skylah.

Private family services were held.
