A man who allegedly fled from police during a traffic stop related to a burglary in Minot Sunday evening was found and arrested in McLean County Monday morning.
Kevin Martin, 45, of no fixed address but who said he is originally from Michigan, was arrested at about 9:33 a.m. and, as of 5:15 p.m. Monday, is being held in on unrelated warrants in McLean County, according to Capt. Curt Olson of the McLean County Sheriff's Office.
Martin was located southwest of Underwood near the location his vehicle wrecked before he allegedly fled on foot. Olson believes that the cold, rainy weather Monday morning may have driven Martin to come out from hiding and he was located after a call was made reporting a suspicious person.
No charges regarding the alleged fleeing or burglary have been filed and the incident remains under investigation.
