ROLLA Michelle Laducer, 38, Rolla, was sentenced Monday in federal court in Bismarck to 30 years in prison to be followed by lifetime supervision for her role in sexually exploiting a minor. She will also have to pay $1,223.16 in restitution and a $200 assessment to the Crime Victim's Fund.
According to the office of the U.S. Attorney for the District of North Dakota Timothy Purdon, Laducer created multiple "images of a minor engaging in sexually explicit conduct using a cellular smart phone with camera capabilities." She was also involved in the transportation of a minor into the state so another adult could also take sexually explicit photos.
The case was a part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative "to combat the growing epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse."
