Readers are reminded they have an opportunity to have a photograph of a favorite hunting dog published in The Minot Daily News. Once again a "Dogs in the Field" feature is planned for these outdoor pages shortly after the close of hunting seasons.
The emphasis of all submitted photographs should be to celebrate the hunting dog. Photographs receiving first consideration for publication will be those in which the dog is featured, not the hunter. Photographs of hunters posing with a dog and birds are discouraged.
All hunting dogs are eligible for publication. Submissions will be accepted by email only at firstname.lastname@example.org. Information should include the name of the dog and owner, owner's phone number, dog's age and approximate location and date where the photograph was taken. Additional information, such as the circumstances leading to the photograph, or personal comments about a dog, are encouraged.
