Jarred M. Allen, 35, Bakersfield, Calif., was arrested Thursday morning at about 1:30 after fleeing from police during a traffic stop.
According to Capt. John Klug of the Minot Police Department, Allen was driving his vehicle with a headlight out, triggering the stop. After stopping his vehicle he fled on foot from officers. Allen was located by a police K9 unit.
Allen was charged for fleeing in a motor vehicle, driving a vehicle under the influence, driving with a suspended license and refusal to submit to a chemical test.
He was also arrested on outstanding warrants from both the City of Williston and Williams County. The warrants were for failure to appear for court.
