After a cooler than normal summer, the Minot area has enjoyed higher than average temperatures during the last few days.
The high on Saturday was 88, with a low of just 64.
The warm, dry weather is expected to continue for the next few days, according to the National Weather Service. Today's weather will be sunny, with a high near 93 and winds gusting up to 21 mph. Tonight's low will be around 63.
The Roosevelt Park Pool may have closed for the summer, but the splash pad in Oak Park was still open on Sunday afternoon. Here, children beat the heat by playing in the water.
Tuesday, the weather will be even warmer, with a high near 94 and a low around 62.
The temperatures will be a bit lower, though still warm, during the following days, with highs in the low 80s and lows in the high 50s and low 60s Wednesday through Saturday.
The nice weather may end by next Sunday, though, when there is a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms.
