BERTHOLD Two people were arrested and taken to the Ward County Jail Sunday on drug and other assorted charges following a traffic stop Sunday on U.S. Highway 2 in Berthold, according to a press release from the Berthold Police Department.
Mark Moody, 22, Kramer, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license, driving with no liability insurance, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a loaded firearm in the vehicle. Moody's girlfriend, Alicia Stevens, 24, also of Kramer, who was in the car, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for bad checks. She was also charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and having open alcohol containers in the vehicle. According to the Berthold police, Moody also admitted to bringing the high quality marijuana to North Dakota from Oregon.
