Brandon L. Belk, 30, Watford City, formerly of Walla Walla, Wash., died Friday, July 5, 2013, at his home in Watford City as a result of chemical exposure at work.
A Celebration of the Life of Brandon L. Belk will be held at a later date in Walla Walla. A celebration of Brandon's life was held in Watford City on July 8, 2013. Cremation has taken place under the care of Fulkerson Funeral Home of Watford City. Memorials are preferred to his daughter Mariah and may be sent to First International Bank in Watford City. Brandon Belk was born Dec. 21, 1982, in Bellevue, Wash., to the late Rodney Belk and Vikki Daggett. He grew up in Washington and moved to Watford City in March 2012 to begin work in the oil field industry.
The light of his life was his 12 year-old daughter, Mariah McKenzie.
Brandon leaves: his daughter, Mariah, Walla Walla, Wash.; parents, Jerry and Vikki Daggett, Walla Walla; sisters, Wendy (Wade) Hornberger, Berthold, Nicole (Dustin) Myers, Minot; brothers, Jeremy Daggett, Walla Walla, and Kolby Belk, Auburn, Wash.; nieces and nephews, Kara, Colby, Ethan and Karter; special friend, Amber Myers, Minot; and many other close relatives and friends who were like family to him in Watford City and Washington.
He was preceded in death by his father and brothers, Rodney and Shane Belk.
