The next round of neighborhood meetings for the city's River Front and Center planning studies will take place June 17 and 18.
Consultants from Stantec will review the input and ideas from the first round of meetings in April and present analysis, goals and strategies for each neighborhood. This information will be in the form of written goals and maps illustrating various issues, such as sidewalks and bike trails, street lighting, traffic and vacant properties. All interested residents, business owners and property owners are encouraged to attend and participate.
Neighborhoods in zones 1, 2 and 3, located west of Broadway, will meet in St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 2209-4th Ave. NW, on June 17 from 7 to 9 p.m.
Neighborhoods 4, 5 and 6, located east of Broadway, will meet at Roosevelt Park Zoo, 1219 E. Burdick Expy., on June 18 from 7 to 9 p.m.
The boundary line between Neighborhoods 3 and 4 was changed to Broadway after the initial meeting. Residents living west of Broadway now are in Neighborhood 3. Those east of Broadway are in Neighborhood 4.
