The Minot High School soccer team played to a scoreless tie with Bismarck High on Friday at Herb Parker Stadium.
MHS sophomore Kaitlyn Stenberg finished with 12 saves and Bismarck goalie Sara Bachmeier finished with six stops.
"It was actually a pretty good soccer game," MHS coach Matt Pfau said. "Both teams created quality chances of scores. Nobody finished tonight. Either the goalie came up with great saves or both teams shot right at the goalie."
Minot hosts Bismarck Century in its regular-season finale at 2 p.m. today at Herb Parker Stadium.
The Majettes (3-4-2) trail Mandan by one point for the final spot in the state tournament. If Mandan beats Bismarck St. Mary's today, the Majettes cannot qualify for state. If Mandan loses or ties, Minot can play its way in.
