Minot State University junior Jen Dixon was named a first-team NCAA Division II Daktronics All-American on Thursday, a day after being named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-American second team.
MSU senior Tiffany Friesen was named to the Daktronics second team and classmate Mandy Greenberg was a third-team selection.
Dixon led the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference with a .447 batting average en route to being named conference player of the year and Daktronics Central Region Player of the Year.
Friesen hit a school-record 16 home runs and led the team with 62 RBIs while also posting a 13-6 pitching record.
Greenberg went 25-5 with a 1.12 ERA and collected 258 strikeouts in 168.2 innings.
The trio helped MSU to a 41-11 record and a berth in the Central Region tournament in the Beavers' first season in Division II.
