Does President Barack Obama's administration know no bounds regarding unethical behavior? Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius is clear and convincing evidence that it does not.
During a week including revelations the Justice Department seized Associated Press telephone records, the Internal Revenue Service harassed conservative groups, the State Department lied about the Benghazi terrorist attack, news about Sebelius came as no real surprise.
It has been reported the secretary, who has been unable to obtain money from Congress to promote the new health care law - "Obamacare" - is soliciting donations for that very purpose from health care companies. Sebelius is after millions of dollars.
Clearly, seeking donations from an corporations in an industry her department regulates is unethical, and it may well be illegal. Members of Congress should add Sebelius to the long and growing list of investigations already under way concerning improper behavior by high-ranking officials in the Barack Obama administration.
