Airman 1st Class Joshua Grier, 20, who was stationed at Minot Air Force Base, died Friday, April 26, 2013, in Guam, where he was deployed to Andersen Air Force Base in Guam. He was an Air Force B-52 assistant dedicated crew chief. He was assigned to the 5th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron at Minot AFB.
He was born Jan. 26, 1993, in Wichita, Kan.
Survivors: father, Steve Grier, Goddard, Kan.; mother and her husband, Wendy and Joe Wilson, Wichita; brother, Brett, Wichita; stepbrother, Joey Wilson, Salina, Kan.; stepsister, Logan Wilson, of Salina; grandparents, Ronald and Carol Eutsey, Connellsville, Pa., Connie and Fred Trego, of Viola, Kan., Kent and Nancy Grier, Park City, Kan., Bruce and Sherry Boll, Lake St. Louis, Mo.; great-grandparent, Marion Rhodes, of Wichita.
A memorial service was held May 3 at Minot AFB.
Funeral: Friday, 11 a.m., Cross Point Free Will Baptist Church, Wichita.
Burial: Resthaven Cemetery, Wichita.
