Minot State University art education student Chelsey Lunstad will present her senior capstone exhibition, “The Art of Temptation,” Saturday through June 14 in the Hartnett Hall Gallery at Minot State University. The opening reception will be Saturday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Lunstad will speak about her work at 7 p.m. Lunstad displays her paintings, installations, ceramics, and mixed media artwork in sections that serve as scenes with which viewers can interact. Lunstad describes her art as “perspectives of human nature and temptation.” She combines scenes of temptations with another inspiration, the story of “Alice in Wonderland.” Lunstad uses her fascination with the story to bring a playful, fun expression to her artwork, like the pictured “Apocalips.” The exhibit and reception are free and open to the public. Parking at Minot State University is unrestricted after 5 p.m.
