Edwin Schoelkoph, 88, Williston, died Friday, April 12, 2013, in a Williston hospital.
He was born April 19, 1924, near Fish Hook Lake, Minn., to Otto and Frances Schoelkoph. He entered the U.S. Army in 1942 and served during World War II. He was honorably discharged in 1947.
He married Leonella Mae Lucas Sept. 1, 1950, in Sidney, Mont.
Survivors: son, Richard Schoelkoph, of Bemidji, Minn.; three daughters, Paulette Eide, Colette Atanasu and Diann Salveson, all Williston; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; sister, Ella Mae Schoelkoph Pack, of Surprise, Ariz.
Funeral: Tuesday, 2 p.m., Emmanuel Free Lutheran Church.
Burial: At a later date in Sunset Rest Cemetery, west of Ray.
Visitation: Today, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Tuesday, 9 to 11 a.m., in Everson Funeral Home, Williston.
